The revamped mydlink app for the modern smart home offers users more intelligent, customisable, and intuitive controls for their smart home
September 17, 2020 – D-Link, the global networking company, has today unveiled a complete revamp of its mydlink app. With usability in mind, the new mydlink app has been redesigned with new functions and an even more intuitive interface to give customers an easy and secure way to monitor their smart homes at any time, from anywhere.
The mydlink app now supports smart Bluetooth setup that allows cameras to be up and running in seconds. The all-new Scenes feature gives users the ability to control and automate multiple connected devices at any given time.
D-Link has also announced several new features that support the overall user experience. These include enhanced device scheduling, automation and privacy controls, as well as an improved event timeline to allow users to quickly and easily see when something has happened and playback the related videos.
“Our users are at the heart of everything we do, and our continuous development of the mydlink app is a testament to that”, proclaimed John Lee, Chairman, D-Link. “As such, we consistently pay close attention to the feedback we receive, especially around new features and privacy enhancements that our users truly need.”
The mydlink app allows users to control and monitor mydlink smart home devices – such as video cameras, smart plugs or sensors – straight from a smartphone or tablet. The mydlink portfolio has been delivering robust, secure, and highly-scalable technology for more than ten years, serving more than six million registered users worldwide.
